Autoresponder Value
Recently, a friend recommended that I download an ebook from a web site. Her words:
"Normally a .pdf like this would bore me - but I found myself actually reading it twice. I thought of you and the model you set up for the Website's Secret."
Naturally, I went to the web site to grab the ebook. It was offered only by subscribing to a multiple-autoresponder.
It was such a good example of using an autoresponder to begin a conversation. My friend recommended it. I made the effort to get a copy. Now the author of the ebook has an opportunity to continue the conversation because I, too, was impressed with his information.
Autoresponders can be viewed as an easy "hands-off" way of delivering information. Or they can be viewed as conversation starters. Often enough, they are both.
Multiple Response Autoresponders ( AWeber) are the conversation king in the autoresponder arena. With your prospective customers permission, you can feed them as much quality content that it takes to impress them with your product/service.
Single response autoresponders do a good job of singing one note.
