Using Master Form V4 From Many Domains
A frequently asked question about Master Form V4 is whether or not a separate license must be purchased for each domain it will be used on.
The answer is, "maybe."
The software will run correctly only when installed on the domain it is generated for, which would be the licensed domain.
However, and this has saved people good money, the web page forms themselves can be on any or many domains.
Here are some considerations when forms are on other domains:
-
If the browser is redirected to a non-customized thank-you page, the URL in the browser's address bar will be that of the thank-you page, just like expected.
However, when a personalized/custom thank-you page is specified, the URL in the browser's address bar will be the URL where the software is installed.
Note: The Master Form V4 and Custom Thank-You Pages article shows how to use PHP on the thank-you page (for its own URL in the browser) even having content customized with information submitted by the form.
-
Similarly with multi-page forms, the URL in the browser for the second and subsequent form pages will be the URL where the software is installed.
-
Email template files must be on the domain where the software is installed. And database files must be written to a location on the same domain.
As you can see, there are few limitations for using the form on any other domain you wish to use it at.
Master Form V4 is perhaps the most sophisticated, easy-to-use form handling software available on the Internet.
