HTML Within PHP
Occasionally, it becomes necessary to insert a lot of HTML code in a PHP script. A form, for example.
The PHP echo function can be used to publish HTML to a web page. With a lot of HTML, however, there should be a better way.
And there is.
A way to publish a lot of PHP code without using echo is to first end the PHP block, then insert the HTML content, and last open a new PHP block. Example:
<?php
// PHP lines here
?>
<p>
HTML
content.
</p>
<?php
// More PHP lines
?>
PHP variables can be inserted into the HTML this way:
<?php
$myname = "Will";
?>
<p>
My name
is <?php echo($myname) ?>.
</p>
<?php
// More PHP lines
?>
echo good. However, the above method likely will work better for you when publishing lots of HTML content.
